A clearer number plan

A working plan connects the purpose of a number with the conditions under which you can keep using it.

Write the exact purpose

Name the service and the feature involved. Ordinary contact, profile information and account verification may have different requirements. Avoid expanding a provider’s general claim into a promise about every feature on every platform.

Read acceptance before comparing prices

Open the platform’s current support page. Note the accepted number types and any account-specific instructions. If the wording is unclear, ask the platform through its own support route; this website cannot override or diagnose an eligibility decision.

Compare the same period

Use the worksheet on the home page to add setup and monthly costs over a chosen period. Include taxes or extra charges in your inputs where relevant. The arithmetic does not check the provider’s billing model, refund policy or currency conversion.

Check continued control

Read how renewal, suspension and reassignment work. Ask who can access messages and what happens when the service ends. A short access period deserves particular care when the associated account is intended to last much longer.

Prepare for a routine change

A replacement device or cancelled plan can make a forgotten dependency visible. Review the platform’s supported recovery options and keep your provider terms somewhere you can find them. Never publish recovery details in a shared checklist.

Revisit the plan

Set your own review before a renewal or change of provider. Recheck official requirements at that point, because an old compatibility statement may no longer describe the current service.
